Luckily, there are still good people in the world who are willing to lend a helping hand to those in need. Thanks to the generous donations of animal lovers like you, the Oklahoma Shelter has been able to create a haven for not only puppies, but also their hardworking and devoted mothers.
At the Oklahoma Shelter, many puppies and their mothers have been given a second chance at life, all thanks to your contributions. These furry friends have been through tough times, but they are resilient and full of love, ready to find their forever homes. Let’s take a moment to meet some of the amazing shelter pets that your donations have helped.
First, we have Lily, a sweet and affectionate Labrador Retriever mix. Lily arrived at the Oklahoma Shelter with her litter of 8 puppies. As a dedicated and loving mother, Lily did everything she could to make sure her puppies were healthy and well cared for. However, due to her previous neglect, she was extremely underweight and needed extra care herself. Thanks to your donations, Lily and her puppies received the necessary medical attention and nourishment they needed to thrive. Now, Lily is healthier than ever and her puppies are growing into happy and playful dogs.
Next, we have Max, a handsome and playful Golden Retriever. Max was surrendered by his owner and brought to the Oklahoma Shelter with his mom, Maggie. They were both timid and scared, but your donations provided them with a safe and supportive environment to help them overcome their fears. As a result, Max has blossomed into a social and outgoing dog, and Maggie has become more confident and relaxed. They have a strong bond and it would be wonderful if they could find a forever home together.
Another success story is Rosie, a sassy and energetic Dachshund mix. Rosie was found wandering the streets, pregnant and alone. Thanks to your donations, she was taken in by the Oklahoma Shelter where she gave birth to a litter of 5 healthy puppies. Rosie has a spunky personality and loves to play and run around with her puppies. Now that her puppies are getting adopted, Rosie is looking for a loving home where she can receive all the love and attention she deserves.
Last but not least, we have Rufus, a gentle and loyal German Shepherd mix. Rufus was rescued from a hoarding situation along with his mother, Ruby. Rufus and his siblings had never experienced proper care and were very scared and skittish when they arrived at the shelter. Your donations helped provide them with a safe and nurturing environment, and Rufus has come out of his shell and is a loving and affectionate dog. He and his mother Ruby are inseparable and would love to find a home where they can stay together forever.
