Billboard Korea has the first interview with mega boy band idntt’s two units: unevermet & yesweare.
The K-Pop industry has been buzzing with excitement as the popular boy band idntt has recently announced the formation of two new units: unevermet and yesweare. Fans have been eagerly anticipating the debut of these units and Billboard Korea was lucky enough to have the first exclusive interview with them.
The members of idntt, who have been dominating the music charts with their catchy tunes and stunning performances, have decided to branch out and showcase their individual talents through these two units. unevermet, consisting of members Jin, V, and Jungkook, focuses on a more R&B and hip-hop sound while yesweare, made up of RM, Suga, J-Hope, and Jimin, explores a more experimental and electronic genre.
During the interview, the members expressed their excitement and gratitude for being able to work on their own projects within the group. RM, the leader of idntt, shared, “We’ve always wanted to show different sides of ourselves as artists and these units are the perfect opportunity for us to do that. It’s a new challenge for us and we’re ready to give it our all.”
The members also revealed that the unit names hold special meanings for them. unevermet, derived from the phrase “you and I never met”, symbolizes the unique chemistry between the three members and their strong bond. Meanwhile, yesweare represents the confidence and determination of the four members to break boundaries and create music that is truly their own.
When asked about the concept and sound of their upcoming music, the members were tight-lipped but promised that fans can expect something fresh and unexpected. “We want to surprise our fans with something they haven’t seen or heard from us before,” said V, who is known for his soulful vocals.
The interview also delved into the personal lives of the members and how they have been preparing for their unit debuts. J-Hope, who is known for his incredible dance skills, shared that he has been working hard on perfecting his choreography for yesweare’s performances. “I’ve been practicing day and night to make sure I give my best on stage. I want to make our fans proud,” he said with a determined look on his face.
Meanwhile, Jin, who is known for his humor and wit, revealed that he has been trying to channel a more serious and mature side for unevermet. “It’s a new challenge for me to showcase a different image on stage. But I’m excited to see how our fans will react to it,” he said with a smile.
As the interview came to an end, the members expressed their gratitude to their fans for their unwavering support and promised to work even harder to bring them the best music and performances. “We wouldn’t be here without our fans. They inspire us to keep pushing ourselves and we’re grateful for their love and support,” said Jungkook, the youngest member of idntt.
With the first interview with unevermet and yesweare, Billboard Korea has given us a glimpse into the exciting new projects of these talented boys. The anticipation for their unit debuts is at an all-time high and fans can’t wait to see what unevermet and yesweare have in store for them. We wish the members of idntt all the best and can’t wait to see them shine on stage as both a group and as individual units.
