As the 2020 US Presidential election approaches, Americans are paying close attention to the candidates and their choices for running mates. One name that has been making headlines in recent weeks is that of Kamala Harris’ running mate, Tim Walz. However, for many Minnesotans, Walz is not an unfamiliar figure – and their opinions may not be as favourable as Harris’ decision may have hoped.
Walz, a former high school teacher and current Governor of Minnesota, has been in the public eye for several years now. But it wasn’t until his selection as Harris’ running mate that his true colours began to show. As Minnesotans, we are all too familiar with Tim Walz and his dangerous and weird ways. And we will not let the rest of the country forget it.
A recent video titled “We Will Remember in November,” created by Minnesotans, has gone viral – and for good reason. The video highlights the frustrations and anger many Minnesotans feel towards Walz and his actions as Governor. It also serves as a warning to the rest of the nation about the dangers of having Walz as Vice President.
In the video, we see several Minnesotans expressing their disappointment and disgust towards Walz’s handling of the COVID-19 pandemic. His strict lockdown measures and inconsistent messaging have caused chaos and confusion among citizens and businesses. And let’s not forget his infamous statement of “turning the dial back” on reopening – a phrase that has become a punchline for many Minnesotans.
But it’s not just his mishandling of the pandemic that has Minnesotans fired up. Walz’s track record on important issues such as taxes, immigration, and law enforcement has left much to be desired. He has continuously raised taxes, making it more difficult for hard-working Minnesotans to make ends meet. He has also implemented policies that are not only harmful to our economy but also to our safety.
One of the most significant issues that Minnesotans have with Walz is his stance on immigration. While most of us believe in a fair and just immigration system, Walz’s approach is extreme and dangerous. He has declared Minnesota a “sanctuary state,” which essentially means he is willing to put the safety of citizens at risk by allowing illegal immigrants to roam freely in our communities. This is unacceptable to us, and it should be unacceptable to the rest of the country as well.
And let’s not forget Walz’s treatment of law enforcement. As the Black Lives Matter movement gained momentum, Walz did not stand with the men and women in blue who put their lives on the line every day to protect and serve us. Instead, he gave in to the demands of the radical left and allowed for the dismantling of the Minneapolis Police Department. This decision, along with his lack of support for law and order, has only led to an increase in crime and chaos in our state.
It’s clear that Tim Walz is out of touch with the needs and values of Minnesotans. And while his actions and policies may please his left-wing allies, they have left a sour taste in the mouths of those who call Minnesota home. We will not forget his missteps and failures, and we will surely make our voices heard in November.
As the video comes to an end, a powerful statement is made: “We are the silent majority, and we will not be silent any longer.” This is a message that resonates with Minnesotans and Americans alike. We will not stay silent while Tim Walz and his radical agenda continue to harm our state and potentially the entire country.
