Kitten Gets Covered in a Wendy’s Frosty on the Ride to His Forever Home, Gets Fun Name as a Result
When this little kitty was picked up from the shelter, his transport to his forever home turned into one of the sweetest and funniest experiences ever!
In February 2021, a rescue group from Louisiana took in a very special kitty from a local shelter. They named him Frosty, as the little fellow quickly earned this name due to an interesting incident on the ride to his new home.
Frosty was taken to his new home in a carrier, and when the volunteers were almost there, he started meowing, as if he was begging for attention. So, one of the volunteers decided to give him a treat – a Frosty from the nearby Wendy’s drive-thru.
The problem was that Frosty was so excited about the treat that he couldn’t wait until they reached the destination, so the ice cream cone covered the kitty from top to bottom. Luckily, the volunteers had some napkins. One of them was even nice enough to help Frosty “lick up” as much of the delicious treat as possible.
The volunteers had to laugh at the scene, and after they cleaned the kitty, they decided to name him Frosty, in honor of the sweet treat that gave the poor kitty so much joy that day.
It didn’t take long for Frosty to find a wonderful home. After the cleaning incident, a volunteer named Lauren decided to adopt the sweet kitty and take him home. Frosty now has all the love, care, and attention he could ever ask for.
Frosty’s story of being treated to an ice cream cone on the way to his new home is now an internet sensation and a beautiful reminder of how big of a difference rescue groups make in the lives of animals in need.
Not only did the volunteers give Frosty the best treat ever, but also an amazing name and home. Despite all of the obstacles that Frosty faced in his life, we hope that his story will serve as a reminder of the healing power of kindness and joy.
Frosty is now an adored member of his new family and we are sure that he has plenty of stories to tell. Hopefully, Frosty’s story will inspire other people to adopt animals in need and always remember the power of kindness.
