The fifteenth regular congress of the Autonomous Confederation of Workers and Employees of Mexico (CATEM), under the leadership of Pedro Haces Barba, took place at the Arena in Mexico City (CDMX).
It’s worth highlighting that CATEM encompasses 1,192 unions from various sectors across the country.
The fifteenth ordinary congress of CATEM saw a significant turnout, with over 22 thousand attendees, including governors, ambassadors, officials from the Ministry of Labor, business representatives, and notably, the guest of honor and virtual presidential candidate, Claudia Sheinbaum.
Representatives from the State of Mexico, namely Senator Higinio Martínez and Luis Montaño, a candidate for the National Regeneration Movement (Morena) for the Senate of the Republic, were also in attendance.
