A 24-year-old man living in the Paris region was arrested in flagrante delicto this Sunday around 11:25 p.m. while trying to set fire to a vehicle in the Place du Pin district.
Realizing his intentions, local residents dialed 17 and a crew from the anti-crime brigade (BAC) went to the scene. The flames had begun their work but a fire extinguisher limited the damage.
The alleged arsonist is still in custody this Monday. In his first declarations, he would evoke a settlement of accounts with others, with divergent interests.
